Again, for any individuals or families out there, I would NEVER, EVER use this travel agency for any kind of trip, especially something like Disney where planning is crucial. Buyers beware!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have given zero stars but I couldn't.
Worst experience ever. Instead of making our trip planning easier she made it so much more difficult and stressful. My wife had to have the horrible job of dealing with Sandy and trying to get her do the things she promised. She does the classic bait and switch - super nice at first but as soon as you commit and she has made her sale, she disappears and becomes very uncooperative.
What initially was a postive experience with Instant Impressions, quickly turned sour and I would never, ever use this travel agent again. As someone who is well traveled and been all over the world, I am shocked that this agency is still in business due to the neglect and poor customer service I experienced.
Not only did she NOT do the things she promised but she didn't make reservations we wanted causing us to miss out on some things. We also caught her lying a number of times saying she mailed stuff out to us, she told us "it must be at neighbor's house by mistake," and then they would coincidentally show up in our mailbox the next day with no post mark.
She would also ignore emails and phone calls. We would actually use different phones so she wouldn't recognize the number and maybe pick up.
However, this dramatically changed and I basically could not get in touch with anyone from December through March. Imagine how frustrating when you are relying on someone to help plan a trip for you. The excuse I was told was their email wasn't working with Gmail. Really???? For 4 months? So I tried other options. I emailed from a non-gmail account- no response. I called multiple times - no response. I provided a fax and besides receiving the original information in November, I didn't get another fax until they wanted to fax paid. Very convenient. By the time March 1 arrived (I was leaving March 9) - I was infuriated. I had to call Disney to figure out my own airport transfer and pickup - but I wasn't allowed to get my luggage tickets because it had been sent to the travel agent. Did they contact me when it was received - NO. I FINALLY got in touch with an agent on March 1 who was to mail out all of my information. Knowing full well I was leaving on the 9th, I never received my "welcome packet" with all of my information. It wasn't until I arrived home to have it waiting for me. Why might you ask????? Because they took almost a week to mail it. It wasn't mailed until March 6 (I kept the envelope with the postage date stamped). Yet again, poor customer service. Now here is the best part of the whole experience. The day after I returned, I received an email from the agency (the email that wasn't working or compatible with Gmail for 4 months) asking how my trip was. WOW!!!!!!!! Pretty ironic that all of a sudden their email worked.
As we called her out on her lies she got really nasty. You're much better off doing all your planning yourself. I actually teach small businesses how to be successful and use her as the ultimate example of what NOT to do.
I reached out in October 2016 to plan a trip for March 2017 for my 10 year anniversary. The staff was pleasant when I spoke on the phone and initially were very responsive; providing me with information requested quickly.
