This is from October 2014. Yelp deleted my review, so I feel as though I had to leave it somewhere else so everyone would know about the worst experience I had with the event/customer service representative Donna G. I had a wedding party staying at the hotel with shuttle service that included a shuttle to and from the venue...if 6 rooms booked, it would guarantee 1 shuttle bus that seats (14 passengers) and 12 rooms booked would guarantee 2 shuttles. It seemed easy enough and when making our final arrangements we came across some issues that we had. Apparently, in the fine print if you book with AAA and get a discount you are not part of the wedding block so these rooms booked by guests were not entitled to receive the shuttle service. So I had several guests who gave the code and weren't added to the wedding block. When finding this information out, I asked for a representative to call each customer and tell them about the discount and that the shuttle service would not be a option. Instead, I was told that I had to call them myself because it was in the contract...really making me call my guests is unbelievable/unprofessional. How about don't offer a discount without explaining the stipulations first . Next, I had families staying with 4 people to a room, which exceeded the 14 passenger shuttle limit. When I asked about getting a bigger shuttle to accommodate my guests, I was told I'd have to purchase another shuttle for $100 or book 12 rooms. At this point I had 9 rooms booked that 2 shuttles still wouldn't be able to accommodate for everyone. When speaking to my event/customer representative though, only 6 were accounted for because of the discounted rooms. The entire thing was a nightmare. She told me that there was nothing she could do, despite the fact that I got her 9 rooms that she otherwise would not have sold. I told her I'd have my wedding party stay at another hotel and she flat out told me to go ahead. I called 4 of my wedding party guests and they stayed elsewhere. No customer service representative should tell you to stay at another hotel, especially when your job is keeping people satisfied. I understand some things are beyond your control, but when a company like this hires incompetent people who don't understand "its not what you say, it's how you say it."

We are with a tour group. Our suitcases were dropped off before we ate. An hour and a half later they were still not brought to our rooms. There's no phone book so we can order a pizza. Their 'pantry' only has chips and candy. Pop is 2.50. Ouch! Rooms are clean and upscale. Nobody told us when breakfast is. Guess we'll find out on our own.

It was pretty good. The staff were all really nice and the rooms were beautiful. But we walked into our room with sawdust all over the floor as they just changed the locks and forgot to clean it up. As well, the complimentary breakfast was pretty good but they had Styrofoam cups. As someone who has spent time doing beach cleanups from garbage, I know how awful Styrofoam is for the environment. But the office was nice about giving us recyclable cups instead :) Otherwise, everything was really nice

excellent service! Stayed at the hotel for about a week and had nothing but excellent service. If you are staying in the area, this hotel is a great choice! Chuck and Krista were both awesome employees that made my trip amazing.

The hotel was clean. The complimentary breakfast had great choices. Make your own waffles with fun topping choices. Eggs, bacon, fruit, cereal, oatmeal with thing you could add to it. A great stress free way to start your day. Our little ones were exhausted from our days adventure so we didn't get to check out the pool. The staff was friendly.
