completely unorganized as patient i never receive enough medicine. they take their time calling in refills or calling you back. sad excuse!

I've had very less than few good experiences from this place. First I will say that I had quite a bunch of unethical things happen to me here, and found most therapists to be quite judgey. I won't go further in describing any details but, I will say I would avoid this place like the plague. Also if you are looking for LGBT support this is not the place for it. I recommend going somewhere in/near the city.

DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY MEMBER HERE. Go to any other hospital with psychiatric care. We brought a family member here THREE TIMES in THREE DAYS because of his violent behavior and threatening words and they DID NOT ADMIT HIM. He was waiting for HOURS for psych EMERGENCY for at least two of those days. Other mental health professionals we have consulted about what happened to my family member have all said how they are SHOCKED by their decision not to care for him, and their psychiatrist Dr. Sportelli's decision (who my family member has been seeing for over two years) to make NO ADJUSTMENTS to his medication. I would say it's a joke if it was so depressingibgly tragic my family member can't get the help he needs.

I have been to St. Clares many times for various things and, although (like any hospital) they make mistakes from time to time, the staff is untiringly supportive and kind. Everyone who works there is nice, and when you are sick this is important. Also the facilities are beautiful - thanks to whoever funded it.
